I was totally shocked and terribly disappointed upon reading the Dec. 11 Anderson News article that you have arbitrarily tabled unification efforts to merge our local governments; particularly in view of the apparent good faith votes of the city council and fiscal court on Aug. 16 to adopt ordinances creating a unification review commission.
