Conway, Ruggles ‘keeping them honest’

To the editor:
Recently, I have seen two government officials doing what they were elected to do.
County Judge-Executive Conway and Magistrate David Ruggles have both been very vocal concerning what they perceived as government waste.
I am not writing this letter to endorse their views, but only to endorse their watch-dog attitude. I truly believe that these two gentlemen understand how our economy works: lower taxes and fees, keep an eye on unnecessary or wasteful government, and you will empower the citizens of this county to spend money.
