Ever thought it would be fun to have a police officer wait on you hand and foot?
Those who show up at Edwardo’s Pizza on Monday night will get just that and more as the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and Lawrenceburg Police Department team up to help the wife of a fellow officer.
All proceeds and tips received Oct. 8 at Edwardo’s will help cover medical expenses for Traci Beasley, a Saffell Street Elementary School teacher and wife of deputy Patrick Beasley.
Traci suffered an aneurism last month and is expected to be out of work for several months.
Police officers will wait on tables and collect tips to help with her medical expenses between 6 and 8 p.m.
“We promise to do everything for you but cook the food,” officers announced in a news release.
