A reunion for the Cornishes of central Kentucky will be held June 2 at noon at the Cornishville Fire Station Community Center, located at 4534 Cornishville Road in Cornishville.
According to reunion organizers, “if you are a Cornish or a related family bring a picnic lunch and soft drink and join us. We will have Cornish family research showing your connections to the first Kentucky Cornishes, as well as information on the founding of Cornishville in Mercer County and Sharpsville in Washington County. We will also tour the old Mill site on the bank of the Chaplin River.
