A Lawrenceburg woman charged with DUI and attempting to bribe a police officer was scheduled for a pretrial conference today (Wednesday) in Anderson District Court.
Malory R. Johnson, 24, of 121 Chautauqua St. allegedly offered $100 to Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputy Alan Robinson “to let her go” after he determined she had been drinking and driving, according to court documents.
The deputy was called to assist a stranded motor vehicle on Mill Creek Pike. When he arrived, Robinson said Johnson told him that her vehicle had blown a tire.
