The picture of Chris Franklin leaping and making a finger-tip interception to preserve the only perfect regular season in Anderson County football history is still vivid.
With Bourbon County driving for what would have been the winning touchdown, Franklin came up with his tenth theft the most in Kentucky in 1986 at the Anderson 5-yard line. Standing on the sideline, cheering with the same gusto we see on the sidelines today was a sophomore tackle named Mark Peach.
