A Lawrenceburg man was jailed last Wednesday after being charged with hunting under the influence and second-degree wanton endangerment, according to documents on file in Anderson District Court.
David Thomas Gaines, 43, of 1040 Lakeshore Drive was hunting doves around 8 p.m. Sept. 12 in a field about six miles south of Lawrenceburg when he allegedly fired his 12-gauge shotgun twice in the direction of another hunter, according to a report filed by Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officer Jason Wells.
