Poise, fitness and talent propelled Molly Kays to center stage in May when he was named Anderson County's Junior Miss 2008.

Now, the high school senior hopes these same traits will help earn her top honors, and some college scholarship money, in the Kentucky Junior Miss 2008 competition this weekend.

The Lawrenceburg redhead packed her bags Sunday for a week-long stay with a host family in Lexington to begin a week of intensive practice and preparation for the 50th anniversary presentation of the state program.
