Recently, the Anderson County Sheriff's Office busted six people on drug-related charges. Do you think there is a drug problem in Anderson County?
Human growth hormone (HGH) is a natural substance, which is released by the body's pituitary glands buy growth hormone
Even within a jurisdiction, however, the status of a substance may be uncertain or contested with respect to both whether it is a drug and how it should be classified if at all. There is no single, precise definition, as there are different meanings in drug control law, government regulations, medicine, and colloquial usage. Thanks.
I don't think the area has a serious drug problem but I wouldn't exclude that possibility in the future. Perhaps creating a rehab center in the area wouldn't be a bad idea at all.
In my comment above i wrote about more and more scientist are saying that medical use of cannabis can really do wonders. I have experienced now myself how it is to smoke cannabis from vaporizers. This is a great device that heats up the cannabis to a certain temperature and extracts the working chemicals from the cannabis. This way you only inhale what is good for the body. I have never tried it, but after reading some articles about medical marijuana i decided to try it. I am smoking to help the pains i am experiencing from my decease and i have never felt so little pain. And then to think i could have done this a lot sooner. You can buy these machines in any so called headshop.
Now even more i want every state to legalize medical marijuana and i will personally invite all my close friends to experience what i did. It really is a wonder plant.
Drugs for recreational use is a thing to be very careful with. Of course it is clear that more and more young people are getting interested in trying drugs and drugs are more and more easily available nowadays. But because most drugs are not legal there is also no control and even worse things appear on the market. There was already one article on this website about herbal pot in Anderson County and those products are far more dangerous. It has been proven that marijuana is not as dangerous as most people think and can actually do good to some people. I recently saw a good documentary made by some students about how cannabis laws in Ireland create more crime and this documentary has been shown at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime conference in Vienna last week. This of course applies to many countries in the world and more and more scientist are saying that medical use of cannabis can really do wonders. There are various sorts (strains) of cannabis that all have different effects on the body. In Europe it is very easy to obtain cannabis in a legal way and the new phenomenon is that people are growing their own White Widow plants for instance, because this strain is known for its powerful medical effects and because it is easier to grow good medical plants than to get cannabis through the government. I don't know how good it is that people take the right in their own hands, but i do know that drug laws should be changed. I hope Texas will follow other states in the USA in regulating medical cannabis use and stop hunting down users.
This plant is made by God and its goodwill should recognized.
It may sound crazy to some of you but legalizing marijuana may be the best thing that could happen to this area. Just check the areas where marijuana is a legal drug and you know what I mean by that. Here's a resource on Cannabis-seeds.co.uk, you might find it useful.
Yes, There is a big drug problem in Anderson County who doesn't know that from living here. I always hear people talking about it but I never hear people talking about how or what they can do to make it better and safe for our kids. I think Anderson County needs to stop talking and take more action on this problem we are having in this county. I also think the gov needs to do more about the Dr's that are just giving the drugs out like candy and then wonder why this country is full of drug addicts and drug dealers. Take the dealers down put them in jail and let them do their time!! Don't let them out a week later and put them on probation cause then they think they can keep doing it. Make it to where they wont want to sale anymore like real hard time like the chain line like they used to do!! Jail is like a vacation now days some people enjoy going it should not be like that people should not like going to jail or prison!! That's how I feel about this issue.
And i wonder how many of those 6 people only smoke marijuana???LEGALIZE!!!!
The state of Kentucky needs to legalize marijuana. It would help bring in $ for the state. No one has ever died from it.And how many have died from smoking tobacco and alchohol??? Too many closed minded people here in Lawrenceburg.
Is there a drug problem here in Anderson County? Does that question really need to be asked? I am constantly shocked at the level of drug use in the county by old and young alike, and it's not hard to see. There is a generation of kids now that have been/are being raised by drug sbusing parents, and frankly it's disgusting. I personally know of kids who's parents have them go get drugs for them! Kids who's parents sell to other kids! Parents (and I use that term loosely) like this should be buried under the jail as far as I'm concerned as they show no moral ethical or legal sense and are a burden on our society and are harming children which is the most disturbing. Is there a drug problem here? The answer is a resounding YES!
I lived in Anderson County all of my life until I met my husband and moved to Mercer County. I regret that I ever bought my house in Harrodsburg because of their major drug problem, but the way I see it, Lawrenceburg isn't doing any better either.
We definitely have a drug problem, perhaps it's not as high as it is in other states but the drug usage have been constantly rising during the past few they have quite a few New Jersey drug rehab centers, does anyone knows about such a center nearby? My teenage son always tells me about his school mates who are using drugs, we might need such treatment centers as well.
Having recently moved back to Lawrenceburg from Salvisa, and as a former Anderson County native, I would say things are as they have always been. Sure, there are drugs spread about but I can't say that there is an incredibly noticeable difference. I don't mean to put Mercer County down in any way, form or fashion but there seems to be a tremendous drug issue there. Specifically with home made chemistry sets if you get my drift.
Obviously if we arrest people in Anderson County with drugs we have a drug problem. When I listen to what many young people are saying I am Convinced we have a drug problem here.
