Local students accept merit-based
scholarships to Eastern Kentucky
Four Lawrenceburg students accepted merit-based scholarships to attend Eastern Kentucky University.
These students include Chelsea Lane, presidential scholarship; Matthew Sprague, founders scholarship; Bronston Mitchell, presidential scholarship; and Scarlett Sullivan, regents scholarship
According to a press release from Eastern Kentucky, students who qualify for merit-based scholarships have until May 1 to accept them. Additional scholarship recipients will be announced at a later date.
The Excellence Award, Founders Award, Regents Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship and Merit Scholarship are for incoming freshmen.
