Seventh grader serves as U.S. ambassador
during trip to Europe
Reece Arredondo, a seventh grader at Anderson County Middle School, recently returned from a three-week trip to Europe with People to People’s Student Ambassador program.
The program was established by former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956 in hopes that students uniting from cultures around the world would perpetuate peace. Arredondo’s delegation visited the United Kingdom, including Wales, Ireland and Scotland.
