Larry and Clara Waldridge of Lawrenceburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra Janette Waldridge of Lawrenceburg, to Jon Wesley Yates of Mount Eden, son of Terry and Jane Yates of Mount Eden.
Grandparents of the bride are Edith Waldridge and the late Russell Waldridge and the late Arthur and Prudy Arnold.
Grandparents of the groom are Arthur and Juanita Yates and the late Oscar and Finetta Helen Thacker.
The bride is an Anderson County High School graduate and has an associate’s degree in applied science. She is currently attending JCC for nursing.
The groom is a Spencer County High School graduate. He is currently employed as a firefighter/EMT for Shelbyville city fire department.
The wedding will take place Oct. 6, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. at Reynolds Farm in Shelbyville.
