Last Tuesday's Anderson County Fiscal Court meeting could best be described as routine. The work session preceding the meeting was much more interesting.
The court's work sessions usually are devoted to discussing items that are on the following meeting's agenda, but unlike its meetings, the court is not required to stick to its agenda during work sessions.
Neither state senator and former governor Julian Carroll [D], or Marty Bertram, a resident of Enterprise Road, was on the meeting agenda, but their issues dominated the work session.
