SHELBYVILLE - There really wasn't much Tony Kays could say Monday night.
The Anderson County girls' basketball coach had just come tantalizingly close to his first state tournament berth as a coach and the school's first trip in 30 years.
Only 70 seconds had stood between his team and a date in Bowling Green's Diddle Arena.
Seventy measly seconds.
But trying to protect a one-point lead against a team determined to expunge its own demons is tricky business indeed.
"We relaxed a bit and Simon Kenton made the plays," Kays saod.
