A benefit for Daphne Shifflet Hardin is planned for Sunday, Nov. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Country Place Jamboree in Frankfort.
Hardin, a lifelong Anderson County resident, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at age 27. Most recently, at age 34, she was diagnosed with a brain disease brought on by mass lesions found in her brain and spinal cord, according to a news release.
Hardin is married with one daughter.
“This benefit is to raise money for Daphne to afford a new, more aggressive treatment in hopes to slow down the disease and make it possible to control and decrease the number of relapses,” the news release said.
“We are hoping you can join us [on Sunday] for raffles and auctions to help raise the amount she needs.”
All donations will go to support Hardin and her family.
Country Place Jamboree is located at 60 Old Sheep Pen Road in Frankfort.
