Family plans benefit to help local woman

A benefit for Daphne Shifflet Hardin is planned for Sunday, Nov. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Country Place Jamboree in Frankfort.
Hardin, a lifelong Anderson County resident, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at age 27. Most recently, at age 34, she was diagnosed with a brain disease brought on by mass lesions found in her brain and spinal cord, according to a news release.
Hardin is married with one daughter.
