This year’s Fourth of July celebration in Anderson County features fireworks, a parade and a salute to veterans, as well as other activities being held to remember America’s birthday.
Bart Powell, director of public safety, said the annual fireworks display at the county park is set to begin at dusk on July 4. The first rain date will be Thursday, July 5 with a second rain date planned for Friday, July 6.
