It is likely there will be plenty of blowouts in the first round of the state high school football playoffs this weekend.
It is also quite likely one of them won't be taking place at Hollie Warford Stadium.
Conventional wisdom says that a district winner, such as Anderson County, should have a breather in the opening round of the state playoffs. After all, a district winner plays a four-seed, or a team one spot away from even making the post-season, in the first game.
