Anderson County football will have a Friday off from football due to an open date before the Bearcats travel to Mercer County on Sept. 14.
Anderson coach Mark Peach says the Bearcats will be working on getting better but through the week
He expected his team to have a normal practice on Monday. Any change in the week's routine would be decided later in the week.
Peach expects a battle at Mercer, which is coached by former Boyle County head coach Chris Pardue.
