There was no secret to Cooper's 48-0 thrashing of Anderson County in the first round of the state Class 5A football playoffs Friday night.
Cooper made the plays and held on to the ball. Anderson turned the ball over six times and its normally high-powered offense could generate little.
“When you have six turnovers that is a recipe for disaster,” Anderson coach Mark Peach said.
