It is still almost five months until Anderson County opens the 2011 football season at Bryan Station on August 19, but the Bearcats got a good look at what they should be able to do in spring practice, which ended last Friday.
Anderson was able to practice 10 times in a three-week span, as allowed by Kentucky High School Athletic Association rules.
“Overall it went really well,” said Anderson coach Mark Peach. “We had around 30 boys out for spring practice.
“I thought we had a great attitude.”
