FOOTBALL PREVIEW: What to look for in Anderson County football in 2013

-A A +A

Local season could have many superlatives

By John Herndon

The coming football season has the potential to be one of the most memorable in Anderson County history. Here are several reasons why.

1. Anderson football could get over .500.

That sounds like such a pedestrian goal, but we are talking over .500 since 1949, when the school was formed. Going into the 2013 season, Anderson's all-time record is 326-328-10. If Anderson finishes the season three games above the break-even point, or better, the all time record will be on the positive side of the ledger, if ties are not counted against the percentage.
