Friends of the Library will host its spring book sale Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Old Glensboro School, located at the corner of US l27 and US 62.

The sale will include large selections of fiction, biographies, war, history, Kentucky authors, children’s, gardening, cookbooks, travel, westerns, science fiction, how-to, spiritual and religious books. The sale will also have books on tape and CDs, music CDs, DVD and VHS movies. There will be many bargain bundles, box lots and blue light specials since we will be moving to an undetermined location.
“Friends of the Library is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization,” event organizers said in a news release.
“Book sales proceeds are donated to the local schools to purchase new books and are used for educational purposes for the Anderson Public Library.
“The Friends are searching for a new home so we can continue to share our love of reading with all of Anderson County, according to the release.
“Anyone having a location that would fit our group, please call 502-839-3484.”
