Gillis shares individual title at East Jessamine tournament

Anderson County junior Taylor Gillis had a huge day Saturday as she earned co-champion honors of the East Jessamine Invitational, held at High Point Golf Club in Nicholasville.

Gillis finished the day tied with Woodford County's Kristina Stevens for the championship. No other details were available at press time.

In an earlier match, Anderson County fell to Sayre 185-215 Thursday at Shady Brook golf course. Gillis led Anderson with a 43.
