GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Lady Bearcats have opportunity to avenge only defeat

The highly-ranked Anderson County girls' basketball team has a chance for a payback next Tuesday night when the Lady Bearcats travel to Bryan Station.

The Lady Defenders handed Anderson its only loss of the season, a 43-41 decision in the Republic Bank Classic at Lexington Catholic back in December. In that one, Anderson might have been playing a game against top-ranked Marion County in its mind before getting past Bryan Station. Anderson County junior Makenzie Cann scored 34 of her team's 41 points.
