Anderson County rolled past Spencer County, 66-16, Friday night in Taylorsville. Anderson won its 23rd straight game against 30th District competition and its ninth straight overall this year.
“All played well,” Anderson County coach Tony Kays said in an e-mail. “We executed on offense and defense.”
Kays said he gave all players extended minutes. He also noted that junior forward Alex Avritt “had a nice all-around game.”
The Lady Bearcats improved to 17-1 and 3-0 in district play. Spencer fell to 7-10 and 0-4.
