GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Lady Cats hold off Christian Academy

Ever since Anderson County's only loss of the girls' basketball season, to Bryan Station back on Dec. 22, there have been questions if the Lady Bearcats could close the deal in a close game against a very good team.

The questions were legitimate. After all, the Lady Bearcats have been pummeling the opposition by more than 22 points a game and have had only two other contests – wins over Bishop Brossart and Mercer County – that ended with a margin of fewer than 10 points.
