A Louisville man was airlifted April 8 to University of Louisville Hospital after hitting a goat with his motorcycle on U.S. 62.
Eric K. Griffith told the Anderson County Sheriff's Office that the goat ran up an embankment at Western School and into the path of his motorcycle. Griffith told Deputy Tony Likens he was following a semi truck on U.S. 62. Griffith saw the truck swerve and prepared to hit his brakes, but by the time he saw the goat, it was right in front of him and "there was nothing he could do," Likens said.
