Gordon Parker Thompson, 85

Gordon Parker Thompson, 85, of Wilmore, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born to the late Charles Robert and Susie Rebekah Hisel Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Morgan Thompson, and three daughters, Linda Gay, Cathy Parker Thompson and Amy Shearer.
Funeral services were held Jan. 12 at Wilmore Free Methodist Church. Burial followed in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
Gash Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceburg in charge of arrangements.
