Grand jury indictments

On July 21, the Anderson County grand jury indicted Carolyn Goodwin, 44, of Louisville, on a charge of complicity to theft by unlawful taking (more than $300).

The following people were indicted Aug. 4 by the Anderson County Grand Jury.

Anthony Jewell, of 1203 Caldwell Road, was indicted on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.

Andrew B. Garlen, 25, of Frankfort was indicted on one count of first-degree perjury.

Stephanie N. Cummins, 26, of 310 1/2 Bond Street, was indicted on one count of first-degree perjury.

James L. Colyer Jr., 30, of Frankfort, was indicted on six charges: second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; unauthorized dispensing of a legend drug; third-degree criminal mischief; operating a motor vehicle under the influence; and first-degree persistent felony offender.

John P. Goettel, 28, of 1064 Northwood Loop, was indicted on five counts of complicity to second-degree robbery.

Brian D. Harris, 25, of Frankfort, was indicted on five counts of second-degree robbery.

Joshua D. Williams, 29, of 1807 Willisburg Road, was indicted on 12 charges: first-degree wanton endangerment; first-degree fleeing/evading police (motor vehicle); first-degree fleeing/evading police (on foot); first-degree unlawful imprisonment; operating on a DUI-suspended operator’s license; third-degree criminal mischief; failure to notify Department of Transportation of change of address; reckless driving; speeding; disregarding an official traffic control device; failure to stop at a stop sign; and failure to wear seatbelt.

Joie R. Cox, 40, of 1101 Dan Street, was indicted on four charges: use/possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; and two counts of controlled substance prescription not in its original container.
