Hardin: Why no felony charge?

Former volleyball coach Bob Hardin said in an interview last week that he doesn’t understand why the man cited with a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault wasn’t charged with a felony for third-degree assault.

Hardin, who called 911 the night of the incident, said KRS 508.025 makes it clear to him that Kenny Holland, who allegedly assaulted him, should have been charged with a felony because Hardin was working for the school district at the time of the incident.
