Harold and Ruby Akins

Harold and Ruby Akins of Bardstown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary March 2.
They were married March 2, 1951 in Anderson County at the home of the Rev. Don W. Kruschurtz. They have lived in Bardstown since April, 1956.
He is retired from the US Post Office. She is retired from NuKote International. They are members of Bardstown United Methodist Church.
They have two daughters, Jacque Keith of Westchester, Ohio, and the Rev.  Harriett Akins-Banman of Little Rock, Ark.
They have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
