The freshman class at the Anderson County High School completed several community service projects around Anderson County last Thursday morning while sophomores and seniors were completing standardized tests.
Service projects included cleaning off graves at Lawrenceburg Cemetery, cleaning out school buses and deputies’ patrol cars, picking up trash and helping out at Open Hands food pantry. Frequently referred to as Anderson County Impact, the service event involved roughly 290 students from the freshman class, according to Anderson County High School principal Chris Glass.
