Homecoming week activities lead to Friday's game

Anderson County will host Montgomery County for the annual Homecoming football game Friday, Sept 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The game is the first District 6 game for the Bearcats, who are hoping to win their third district championship since 2007.

Homecoming activities will culminate with the crowning of the Homecoming Queen during halftime of the football game.

The school has planned several activities for the rest of the week. Remaining events include If It's Not Neon, It Shouldn't Be On” day at the school on Wednesday; Would You Still Be My Friend If I Wore This” day on Thursday; and Spirit Wear/Greek Games T-Shirt/Toga day on Friday.

The school will also sponsor the perennially popular Homecoming Parade on Thursday, Sept. 26.  The Parade begins at Anderson County High School at 6:30 p.m. The Parade will proceed on Broadway to Main Street, through downtown Lawrenceburg, then turn left on Glensboro Road and end at Anderson County Middle School.
