Computer whiz Steve Jobs was a pioneer, a business tycoon, a visionary, a leader and a global influence.
He was also reportedly a Buddhist.
I certainly hope Mr. Jobs accepted Christ as his personal savior. If not, according to what Jesus Christ said, he is not in heaven, which is all the more reason for us to make sure our friends and family have truly accepted Jesus
Christ as savior, lord and God because “false religion” takes us to hell.
A personal relationship with Jesus through the mercy of the cross is the only way to heaven (Matthew 7:13-14). It is undeniable that Steve Jobs truly left the world a better place. However, the Bible is very serious and specific regarding how we live our lives and what happens when we die.
Furthermore, the Bible is very clear on who we worship. The first of the Ten Commandments is “Thou shalt have o other gods before me.”
Jesus’s own words from Matthew 16: 26, “What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?” Or, “What can a man give in exchange for his soul?”
How do you wish to be remembered when you leave this earth? Do you wish to be known for your success and wealth? Or perhaps you wish to be remembered for your devotion to Christ?
