For the second time in as many years, the Democrat-controlled House in Frankfort is pushing a redistricting plan that would kick state Rep. Kim King (R-Harrodsburg) out of Anderson County.
The plan, which has been approved in the House, calls for Anderson County to become part of the 54th House District, moving it from the 55th and joining it with all of Spencer and a portion of Bullitt counties.
Anderson is now joined with Mercer and a portion of Spencer counties.
The 55th House District would then include Mercer, Washington and a portion of Jessamine counties.
