Humane Society receives $1,500

Local businessmen Adam Shrout and Chase Parker of Talk of the Town recently raised more than $1,500 in donations for the Anderson Humane Society, according to a press release from the Humane Society.
Shrout and Parker joined with Lovers Leap Vineyard and Winery to hold a fundraising event on Oct. 20. Visitors got to sample local wines and Talk of the Town’s food, and buy raffle tickets for prizes donated by local businesses, including a large framed turkey print from the Frame Clinic and a gift basket from Four Roses Distillery.
