Several hundred children participated in the annual Easter egg hunt April 17, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 34 and the City of Lawrenceburg. It was held at the American Legion Fairgrounds.
The children were treated to free pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, and lemonade and Kool-Aid was provided.
There were over 8,000 eggs filled with candy, 110 money eggs and 23 prize baskets. Five different ages groups participated — 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and one area for special needs children.
