High school students dive into politics with mock presidential election

Third period in Lauren Vasser’s classroom at Anderson County High School got a bit loud last week.
Sophomores, learning about the presidential campaigns and election process, were pitted against one another in a battle over the issues.
“Even though I know it’s not a real election there are a lot of things I would like changed in our country,” said Brennan Faust, who was running on the New Alliance ticket.
