Eric D. Jenkins was sentenced July 22 to six years in prison in the vehicular death of Lawrenceburg resident Marie Garmon.
In March, Jenkins, 42, of Hustonville, accepted a plea deal that reduced the initial charge of murder to second-degree manslaughter.
In addition to the prison sentence, Jenkins is required to pay court restitution in the amount of $730 for the charge of operating a commercial vehicle under the influence of intoxicants.
