Judge declares mistrial in Garmon civil suit

 The civil trial against the man who pleaded guilty to DUI and his employer in the 2012 death of a Lawrenceburg woman ended in a mistrial last Tuesday in Anderson County Circuit Court.

The estate of the late Marie Garmon, who was killed when the vehicle she was driving was struck head on by a dump truck on Versailles Road, is suing for more than $31 million, according to documents on file in court.
