Kenneth Hicks, 77, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at his home.
He was born Sept. 10, 1935, in Olive Hill to the late Willie and Gladys Lawhorn Hicks.
Kenneth was a truck driver and farmer and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Kenneth is survived by two sons, Kenneth Robert (Lisa) Hicks and Willis Glenn Glynn (Vicky) Hicks, both of Anderson County; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six sisters, Anna Fay Snipes, Alma Kay Fryman, Iris Lucille Case, and Pamela Jo Stewart, all of Lawrenceburg, Dolly Nadine Sims of Georgia, and Alva Mae Beagle of Harrison County; four brothers, Charles Richard Hicks, Carl D. Hicks, and Terry Edward Hicks, all of Lawrenceburg, and Dale Hicks of Somerset; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Kaye Daniels and a brother, Allen Ray Hicks.
Funeral services were held Sept. 3 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Corn officiating. Burial followed in Lawrenceburg Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers were Richard, Robbie, Tracy, and Junior Hicks, Mike Sparrow, Ronnie Beagle and Tommy Lee Ethington.
