Anderson County scored a 69-60 win at Meade County in girls’ basketball action on Thursday night.
Makenzie Cann led Anderson with 26 points and Eriel McKee scored 23 as Anderson improved to 17-7 on the year.
Anderson was ahead by 18 points at the half, but Meade, which was at full strength after suffering an epidemic of injuries this year, halved the margin before the game ended.
The Lady Bearcats return home on Friday night to take on Woodford County. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. It is Anderson’s final home game of the season.
