Lady Cats embark on quest for Sweet 16

Anderson County will be embarking on the journey that it hopes will produce the Lady Bearcats' first Sweet 16 berth in 30 years tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the first round of the 30th District tournament.

Anderson will be expected to move past host Spencer County for a date with defending district and regional champion Shelby County in the district final Friday, Feb. 29. All district tournament games are set to tip off at 7 p.m.
