Owning a pit bull in Anderson County won’t be illegal, but it will be much more difficult and expensive if the fiscal court approves a rough draft of a pit bull ordinance.
Magistrates received their first look at the ordinance during Tuesday morning’s meeting of the Anderson County Fiscal Court.
The ordinance, drafted by County Attorney Bobbi Jo Lewis, addresses a myriad of dog-related issues, including what will happen when dogs are declared potentially vicious or vicious.
