Lawrenceburg man involved in fatal wreck

A Lawrenceburg man survived what proved to be a fatal accident for another driver Monday morning in Mercer County.

Micah Hammons, 32, was driving an 18-wheeler northbound on U.S. 127 Bypass when his vehicle was hit in the rear by one driven by Charles L. Wright, 60, of Corinth, located in northern Kentucky.

Wright was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to published reports.

Hammons was not injured in the accident, which occurred at the intersection of Highway 152, according to reports.
