A Lawrenceburg man was bleeding and battered but survived a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on Alton Station Road.
With blood oozing from his injured left wrist, Brian Hudson was loaded on a stretcher and into a waiting ambulance after the delivery van he was driving skidded out of control and came to rest on its side.
Hudson, who drives a van for DHL, was trapped inside the van for nearly an hour as rescue workers first peeled away the windshield and then the van's passenger side door and roof to get him out.
