To the editor:
The most shocking part of the story about Rodney Goodlett (“Insurer threatens to leave town, may run for mayor” in last week’s paper) was not about who had to buy a business license to get the city’s insurance contract, but the fact that the city of Lawrenceburg had no more loyalty to those buying licenses and paying taxes than to give the contract to some out of town people.
I am sure the answer would be, “Well, we saved money.”
