Lawrenceburg woman charged with possession of legend drug

A Lawrenceburg woman was arrested Dec. 26 and charged with illegal possession of a legend drug.

Iznatia J. Proctor, 22, was also charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lawrenceburg Police were called to a disturbance on Versailles Road and, after investigating, Sgt. Chad Powell made the arrest.

Other reports from the police department over the past couple months include:

Nov. 16: Jeremy K. Sutcliffe, 21, Frankfort, was charged with speeding, DUI and possession of marijuana. Officer Jeremy Cornish made the arrest during a traffic stop on Main Street.

Nov. 20: Jessica M. Harris, 18, Lawrenceburg, was charged with theft by unlawful taking. Officer Michael Corley responded to a theft complaint at Wal-Mart and after investigating, made the arrest.

Nov. 21: Troy D. Warfield, 41, Lawrenceburg, was charged with violating a Kentucky Protective Order. Sgt. Les Vogt responded to a report of a protection order violation and after investigating, made the arrest.

Nov. 27: Zachary D. Moss, 22, Berea, was charged with speeding, DUI and possession of marijuana. Officer Teddy Melton made the arrest during a traffic stop on U.S. 127 Bypass.

Dec. 1: Benjamin A. Ray, 32, Louisville, was charged with DUI, possession of an open container of alcoholic beverages in a vehicle, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Officer Josh Satterly made the arrest during a traffic stop on Highway 62.

Dec. 2: A Woodford Street resident reported to Officer Matt Rogers that someone had removed cash from her wallet.

Dec.5: Benjamin M. Aculteco, 28, Frankfort, was charged with speeding, no operator’s license ad no insurance. Officer Teddy Melton made the arrest during a traffic stop on U.S. 127 Bypass.

An Indian Trail resident reported to Officer Michael Corely that someone had taken several items fro his residence including a PlayStation gaming system.

Dec. 7: Lindsey N. Jones, 19, Lawrenceburg, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor. Officer Teddy Melton made the arrest during a traffic stop on Cherokee Trail.

Steven R. Maddox, 55, Frankfort, was charged with DUI and no insurance. Officer Phillip Warner made the arrest during a traffic stop on U.S. 127 Bypass.

Dec. 8: A Vail Drive resident reported to Officer Matt Rogers that someone had damaged some Christmas decorations in her yard.

Dec. 9: A Humston Drive resident reported to Officer Josh Satterly that someone had removed a Sanyo digital camera from his vehicle.

Dec. 12: An investigation into a missing juvenile case led to the arrest of a 16-year-old Lawrenceburg boy. Lawrenceburg Police Officer Michael Corley arrested the boy Dec. 12 on charges of second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 13: Delbert L. Preston, 49, Lawrenceburg, was charged with DUI. Officer Josh Satterly made the arrest during a traffic stop on U.S. 127 Bypass.

Dec. 15: Willena M. Lewis, 32, Lawrenceburg, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Officer Joe Saunier made the arrest after an investigation.

Dec. 19: Daniel R. Hudson, 22, Lawrenceburg was charged with alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct. Police were called to a reckless driving complaint on Copperfield. Officer Josh Satterly responded to the area and located a suspicious acting subject — Hudson. After investigating, Satterly made the arrest.

Dec. 21: Jorge Hernandez, 31, Lexington, was charged with driving without an operator’s license. Sgt. Chad Powell made the arrest during a traffic stop on Woodford Street.

Dec. 22: Cayleigh M. Reece, 18, Versailles, was charged with theft by unlawful taking. Police were called to a shoplifting complaint at Rite Aid and Officer Matt Rogers responded. After investigating, he made the arrest.

Dec. 28: Elizabeth F. Lane, 27, Lawrenceburg, was charged with speeding and DUI. Sgt. Chad Powell made the arrest during a traffic stop on Saffell Street.

William Desponett, 33, Lawrenceburg, was charged with fourth-degree assault. Police were called to a disturbance on Forrest Drive. Officer Josh Satterly responded and, after investigating, obtained a warrant and made the arrest.

Jan. 1: David T. Mudd, 34, Lawrenceburg, was charged with failure to wear a seatbelt and DUI, third offense. Officer Teddy Melton made the arrest during a traffic stop on Waterfill Avenue.

Jan. 2: Justin D. Hill, 18, Lawrenceburg, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI. Sgt. Les Vogt made the arrest during a traffic stop on Highway 44.

Larry W. Young, 62, Salvisa, was charged with fourth-degree assault. Police were called to a disturbance on Township Square. Officer Nathan Doty responded and, after investigating, made the arrest.
