I gladly accepted the two Veterans Day invitations I received, one from King Middle School, the other from the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg.
It was an honor to be at King Middle School with Patriots, young and elderly, that served our country at home and on foreign soil.
With CAL, I celebrated Veterans Day at the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church. The Rev. John McDaniel delivered a heartfelt, first-hand account of his US Army experience.
